Promoting travel affiliate through non-travel site
I don’t have a travel site, but I want to promote travel products and services because I see huge earnings through travel affiliates, what do I do?
Three words: Do not worry! Now you can promote the travel merchants and their products as well as services and still earn even if your site doesn’t focus on travel. Especially the sites based on family, bargain-oriented and the gardening niche in particular can readily avail of benefits by promoting travel products in the current economy. One noted travel expert was quoted as saying, “People are not planning to stay home, they are still going to travel.”
One should concentrate over the upcoming events like the World Cup in South Africa in 2010, where before and after the event, the hotels would be adding capacity and would be rolling out deals to get them packed. Similarly another great destination is Iceland where the currency value has fallen recently so there may be great deal of advantage to take care of.
So there are a number of ways in which you can promote a travel product or service, be it any site. So, don’t limit yourself in choosing any travel product or service while planning your affiliate earnings. Always look for the right time and opportunity and pounce upon it before someone else grabs it.
